Sixth Form - Enrolment
On the Sixth Form Induction Day (date to be confirmed), students will be given a letter outlining the procedures for enrolment on Results Day (Thursday 24th August 2017). The letter will include the following information:
Exam results will be available for you to collect from school at 9.00 am and if you have applied to go to the Epping Forest District Sixth Form you will need to enrol once you have confirmed your A Level subject choices with the Head of Sixth Form at your home school.
Remember that attendance to the Sixth Form is dependent on you achieving the designated results for your chosen Pathway. For example, to study A Levels in our Green Route you should achieve an Average Points Score of 42 in your best 8 GCSE results.
If you meet these entry requirements and do not want to change any of your subject choices, the enrolment process will be very quick for you; you will be told which member of staff will interview you and sign up immediately.
If you want to change your subject choices or do not fully meet the entry requirements then you will need to have a discussion with a member of staff so that suitable alternatives can be arranged. Please be aware that if you want to change one of your subjects to another that is oversubscribed then we may not be able to give you an immediate answer.
If you are on holiday on Results Day, you will need to have made alternative arrangements to receive your results.
Heads of Sixth Form will be organising meetings and will be available to discuss any enrolment issues on Friday 25th August and Tuesday29th August if necessary.
